Eric Segovis has worked as a Career and Technical Education teacher for 7 years. Trained in Secondary Education with a Master’s of Education degree in Educational Leadership, he has been designing electronic learning courses since 2010 across multiple sectors. He has appeared as a guest speaker on Esports, Student Agency and Gamification of Learning at the Texas Computer Education Association yearly conference and his students have appeared as speakers at the Texas Association of School Boards’ Student Voice Symposium.
Joshua started in the esports scene as the founder of Forney ISD Esports, bringing the ideology of teaching students future skills through a medium they can enjoy. He was hired by the school district to write curriculum for a Computer Science course directed towards high school students. He went on to become the UTA Esports Club’s Assistant Programs Director his first semester, with the following semester being promoted to the Vice President of Competitive.
